ICS Cool Energy has acquired Tricool Engineering as part of its strategy to increase market penetration and expand its temperature controlled products and services to the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. Established in 1978, Tricool Engineering has grown to become the UKs largest bespoke chiller and thermoregulator manufacturer. It has a manufacturing base in Fareham, Hampshire, a highly skilled workforce and exports specialist products across the globe.
Commenting on the acquisition Philip
Wilson, ICS Cool Energy Director says:ICS is pleased to have been able
to acquire Tricool Engineering. Its well-respected name and reputation
in the industry will provide us with a strong platform to grow the
business. Our plans for ICS future growth include investment in
manufacturing. Tricools industry knowledge and large manufacturing
base for bespoke products is an exciting venture that will help drive
our business forward, adds Wilson. With the addition of Tricool, ICS
is now in a position to offer the industry a wide portfolio of
companies that also includes ICS Systems and Cool Energy.
ICS Systems is the UKs
premier supplier of packaged chillers whose brands include Thermocold,
Climaveneta and MTAs TAE range of chillers. Cool Energy is a
stand-alone specialist chiller and air conditioning rental company
operating across Europe, alongside ICS Services, which offers a
national installation and breakdown service, using parts available from
stock.
