Liberty Freezers, a canadian specialist in third party warehousing and temperature controlled distribution, has opened its first temperature-controlled distribution center in the Montreal area, Frigo Liberté. The facility is a state-of-the-art multi-temperature facility that is strategically located at the junction of highways 40 and 20 in Vaudreuil-Dorion. With over 1.5 million cubic feet of fully racked space, the facility offers food processors, retailers and food service companies a new option for servicing the Quebec market and Eastern Canada. Frigo Liberté offers -20oF capabilities, 36oF, CFIA-HACCP programs and real time information technologies. With the organic growth within the Quebec food market, Liberty hopes to expand Frigo Liberté in the second quarter of 2008.
Liberty Freezers operates four boutique facilities in the Canadian market place (Toronto, London, Chatham Ontario and Montreal) and, according to the company's press release, will be opening a second Toronto facility in January 2008. Completion of the London, Ontario freezer expansion will be completed by June 1, 2007. President and CEO, John M. Diduck is excited about the Montreal market and looks forward to the continual development of the Liberty network of facilities.
