The Spanish Air Conditioning Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (AFEC), announced it will participate in Building Futures Gulf, whose first edition shall take place on April 20th – 23rd in an excepcionally dynamic region concerning real estate development for the terciary and tourism sector, as this can be a business opportunity for some of its export companies.

AFEC’s participation proposal received positive answers from three companies, which didn’t allow for the organization of a joint presence similar to that of other countries as it is necessary to have a minimum of six companies for a group stand. Still, it demonstrated some interest on the event, which drove AFEC to participate in the Trade Fair. With the intervention and help of CLIMATIZACIÓN, a joint conference has been negotiated with the Trade Fair organizers in which IFEMA will present Madrid’s trade fair, preceded by an introduction to the Spanish air conditioning sector delivered by AFEC’s manager.

As in a similar presentation carried out during Climate World, Moscow, in 2006, the conference aims at informing the audience about the Spanish market’s size and development, the aspects that influence its evolution and above all a brief but detailed introduction to the products and services available from Spanish manufacturers, which, apart from honourable exceptions, are truly unknown not only in the Gulf markets but also in other international markets. AFEC will try to find, as far as possible, opportunities for Spanish companies in the industry, reveals the association’s press release.
