The HVAC GULF
Exhibition & Conference will be held for the first time on April 20th
23rd, 2008, simultaneously with three other building shows (STRUCTURES GULF,
ENVELOPE GULF and INTELLIGENT BUILDING GULF)
under the umbrella of the BUILDING FUTURES GULF by BATIMAT, which takes
place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
Leonard Lecoq, Show Manager, BUILDING
FUTURES GULF
by BATIMAT, said: The explosive growth of the construction sector in the Gulf
has made the region a top priority for HVAC vendors. The building sector in the region has now reached a
period of maturity and the need for a more intelligent approach to HVAC
planning is being keenly felt in the industry. According to a survey
conducted by AMR International for Reed Exhibitions, the Middle East HVAC market
is registering a growth rate of 25 percent annually, with district cooling
accounting for approximately one-third of the market and air conditioning
equipment making up the remaining two-thirds. Besides major companies like Tabreed, HVAC GULF will feature an Italian
pavilion with nearly 30 companies showcasing Italian excellence in the HVAC
sector, which is being organised through a joint agreement between Reed
Exhibitions Middle East and Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE).
HVAC GULF
is also expected to feature a dedicated conference track with presentations on
the latest thermal comfort technologies that are set to revolutionise
residential and office environments with their focus on energy efficiency,
waste reduction and environmental protection. According to the organizers
press release, a Business Meeting Programme (BMP) will also be launched to optimise
business opportunities, as it enables visitors to the show to log on to the
event website and set up meetings with exhibitors. The BMP was first
introduced in Europe a few years ago and has proven to be a very useful tool. Visitors can optimise their time at the show while exhibitors are able
to maximise their return on investment from at our events, said Frederic
Theux, President of Reed Exhibitions Middle East. |
