Sakura recently announced the opening of its new R&D Center. So far, those Air Conditioners being handled by Sakura Corporation and its group of companies have been manufactured in China as well as in Thailand. Therefore, Sakura decided to establish its new R&D Center in Ningbo, China.

The main goal is a further enhancement to improve the quality of the products being manufactured at Chinese factories, to extend its own product inspection and to strengthen control over manufacturing. This will also allow for the development of new  and related products. Finally, this will make it possible to establish the Sakura Show Room.

According to the company’s press release, the Sakura Show Room, as a parallel establishment to the R&D Center, is planned to be completed in late April and to have an almost full range exhibition of Sakura Air Conditioners. “Whenever you will have an opportunity to come to China, you are cordially invited to visit Sakura Air Conditioners R&D Center,” said Kazuaki Hama, Group CEO & Managing Director, Sakura.
