Wednesday, 15 April 2009

AFCE, the French Refrigeration, HVAC and Environment Alliance (Alliance Froid Climatización afceEnvironnement). announced the new French plan to reduce the GHG emissions, which was published in the official gazette of the French Republic as a decree that completes and modifies the October 13, 2008 decree law concerning the certificates which all the personnel must have to handle refrigerants until July 4, 2011, in accordance with the European regulation.

For those who are not entitled of a provisional certificate, the European and French regulation gives them until July 4, 2009 to obtain their certificate, in order to allow a real refrigerants improvement which directly contributes to the global warming and are for this reason subjected to the Kyoto protocol which tends to limit the gas emissions to greenhouse effect.
