FIV, a company that manufactures valves, water gas taps and components for heating and plumbing, presents its FIVPress, the complete multilayered system (pipe and fittings) for heating and plumbing systems, all of which are manufactured entirely in the company facilities. The FIVPEX pipe is produced by coupling a layer of aluminium within two layers of polyethylene and continuing the mesh process. This combines the advantages of metal (dimensional stability, high resistance to temperature and pressure) with those of plastic (easy working, good chemical inertia), guarantying FIVPEX maximum performance levels.

The entire range of FIVPRESS fittings manufactured in the company arrives at Ø 63, and is equipped with a special ring in PTFE that electrically insulates the aluminium of the brass fitting. The use of the fittings to press renders installation of the pipe simple, rapid and above all possible with only a minimum number of tools. The threading of the fittings, 24x19 (or 32x1.5), allows the use of a single type of fitting that can be coupled with various seals of different sizes, thus rationalizing stocks. Further facilitating installation, the single unit seal on the multilayered pipe is provided with all of its components (nut, ogive, adaptor) already assembled and ready for pipe insertion.
