ThermoFrost Cyro launches new low noise refrigeration condensing units PDF Print E-mail

Thermofrost Cryo, the Trade Suppliers to the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry, added athermofrost new model to their KD Scroll range of low noise refrigeration condensing units. The new unit, model reference 1PAL025M, uses the Copeland ZB19 scroll compressors, and fills a gap between the 1PAL020M and 1PAL030M. It offers duties of between 6.5kw at +5 degC evaporating and 2.3kw at -20 degC evaporating, on refrigerant R404A.

 

According to the company’s press release, the KD Scroll units are designed for outdoor installation, typically connected to remote display cabinets located within the retail store and they can also be used for cold room applications.

 

All units are fully weatherproof, with a powder coated galvanised steel housing and Blue Fin anti-corrosion coating on the condenser coil. Noise levels have been kept low, and the units are factory fitted with condenser fan speed control, drier, sight glass, adjustable pressure switches, external liquid and suction valves, liquid receiver, mains isolator, compressor contactor and overload.
