Thermofrost Cryo, the Trade Suppliers to the Refrigeration
and Air Conditioning Industry, added a new model to their KD Scroll range of
low noise refrigeration condensing units. The new unit, model reference
1PAL025M, uses the Copeland ZB19 scroll compressors, and fills a gap between
the 1PAL020M and 1PAL030M. It offers duties of between 6.5kw at +5 degC
evaporating and 2.3kw at -20 degC evaporating, on refrigerant R404A.
According to the companys press release, the KD
Scroll units are designed for outdoor installation, typically connected to
remote display cabinets located within the retail store and they can also be
used for cold room applications.
All units are fully weatherproof, with a
powder coated galvanised steel housing and Blue Fin anti-corrosion coating on
the condenser coil. Noise levels have been kept low, and the units are factory
fitted with condenser fan speed control, drier, sight glass, adjustable
pressure switches, external liquid and suction valves, liquid receiver, mains
isolator, compressor contactor and overload.
