To improve the often criticised infrastructure until the start of FIFA Word Cup 2010, South Africa is investing 2 billion Euro. About 600 buses, 468 by Mercedes-Benz and 110 by MAN were ordered and have to be delivered until summer.
For the climatization of those vehicles, the German company Bock Kältemaschinen GmbH, with headquarters in Frickenhausen got a major order by Spheros, South Africa (Pty.) Ltd. to provide the compressors for the FIFA-buses.
Bock vehicle compressors of the FK series are the result of decades of experience in mobile refrigeration. Particularly when it comes to bus air-conditioning, they are the standard of all renowned manufacturers and are especially useful for extreme conditions such as in South Africa.
