Relatio, a provider of large photovoltaic solar energy systems around the world, bets on roof rental in both housing and industrial buildings for the installation of photovoltaic plants, thereby reducing air conditioning expenses and improving the energy balance of roofs while capitalizes an active that until then had been unproductive.
As pointed out by Xavier Cugat, CEO of Relatio in Spain, "the roof, after all, is an area which we did not expect any benefit and now, thanks to photovoltaic solar energy, it is possible. It is a choice, especially attractive at these moments, as normally it pays a percentage of production".
When renting your roof it must be taken into account the creditworthiness of the construction company because if suddenly it disappears it can cause serious harm to the end user and the tenant of the roof. In addition, the contract also must provide warranties for the tenant. Another option is to study the possibility of advance part or the whole rental.
