Sean Treweek has been named the new president of the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH), replacing outgoing president John Bosci.
A longstanding board member, Treweek was voted in unanimously by his fellow directors and assumed the role at the AIRAH annual general meeting held April 12 in Sydney.
I am proud to be navigating this great technical Institute through a period of unprecedented industry change. We are at a time that offers tremendous opportunities for growth, further consolidating AIRAHs industry and knowledge leadership position, Treweek says.
In his role as AIRAH president Treweek will chair the Institutes six-member board, as well as having overall governance and financial responsibilities. As set by the board, the president leads the Institutes strategic direction.
