Vent-Axia prepares to enter the heat pump market PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 12 April 2010

Heat PumpVentilation firm Vent-Axia is set to launch a heat pump division to compete in the renewables market and offer both ground source and air source heat pumps aimed at the domestic and light commercial markets.

Richard Paine, who has joined the new division as product marketing manager, said: “Against the backdrop of tackling climate change and maintaining secure energy supplies, it is imperative that we embrace renewable energy technology as part of a solution to reduce the demand for fossil fuels and in turn reducing the levels of CO2 emitted in the UK.”

Cliff Arnold, who has spent the past five years in the renewables installation sector, has been appointed sales manager of the new division. He said: “With the launch of the Renewable Heat Incentive in April 2011, renewables will become an increasingly attractive option for homeowners, specifiers and landlords. Heat pumps in combination with low-carbon ventilation will make a valuable contribution to reducing the carbon produced by UK homes.”
