To be held at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre from 21 to
23 April, ARBS 2008 will showcase
solutions from around the world that improve the performance of buildings in
order to reduce not only the cost of construction, maintenance, renovation and
operation, but also their impact on the environment, reveals the organizers
press release.
Exhibition Manager Sue Falcke said the rapid growth of ARBS will
continue next year, particularly as professionals struggle to cope with the
immense pressures and demands of improving energy efficiency, and reducing
greenhouse gas emissions. Manufacturers and distributors are stepping up to
the mark, and are spearheading an unprecedented approach to the green
marketplace, Ms Falcke said. Our exhibitors have more to offer than ever
before, which has resulted in nearly 75% of the exhibition being sold out
within weeks of the first release of the floor plan.
ARBS is well established as the meeting place for the HVAC & R
industry, attracting a large and loyal following both domestically and
internationally. The 2006 ARBS exhibition broke all previous records in terms
of number of exhibitors, visitors and international representation, stated Sue
Falcke. ARBS 2008 is shaping up to be a much anticipated event for trade
buyers, specifiers, consultants, engineers, project managers, maintenance
technicians and end users, all with the uniform motivation to find out about
the latest building technologies and practices, Ms Falcke concluded.
