Daikin Airconditioning UK, who will be
attending the London HEVAR Exhibition on the 26th and 27th September 2007
(stand 61), has recently inaugurated its brand new training facility in
Glasgow, offering first class technical advice and training facilities to the
UKs air conditioning engineers. The new office and training facility was
officially opened by Daikin UK managing director, Mr Ando, to provide
installers, consultants and specifiers with advice and support on the latest
legislation and product innovations from Daikin, reveals wnibi.com.
Commenting on the new centre, A/C Sales Director Mick Langford said: The
skills crisis has been looming over the air conditioning industry for a number
of years, with many installers forced to travel long distances in order to meet
their training needs. The new office and training facility is based at Glasgow Airport Business
Park, just a short distance
from the M8 and local transport networks. Headed by Daikin UKs area sales
manager Anne Cameron, the operational team comprises 42 people. Courses at the
centre will provide air conditioning engineers with a depth of knowledge on the
latest product innovations such as Althermas heat pump technology,
Conveni-pack, a tailored solution for the convenience store market place and
VRV technology.
Daikin is committed to the continual development of its training facilities
with centres already in Birmingham, Manchester and Woking.
The new state-of-the-art facility in Glasgow
will add further value to our training offering and help to improve knowledge
and working practice throughout the air conditioning industry, concluded
Langford. |
