Georg Fischer’s distributor in Portugal, Inoxtubo Relenha, created in 1996 at Guimarães and an important player in the portuguese market of air-conditioning, gas and sanitary systems for buildings, has recently organized a presentation which received over 200 local installers. During this meeting, Georg Fischer, an international leader in the design and manufacturing of fluid transportation piping systems, presented three of its most renowned systems: Cool-Fit, i-FIT and Instaflex.

Cool-Fit, a revolutionary thermoplastic piping system, is ideal for refrigeration applications in secondary circuits, industrial refrigeration and air conditioning as it is a high-tech product and because it takes less time to install, reveals the company’s press release. i-FIT is a system that uses multilayered and polybutylene pipings, soon crosslinked polybutylene, the only one that doesn’t need machinery to join multilayers and crosslinked polybutylene. It offers a unique, quick join-plug system, the revolutionary insert-install technology, and diameters between 16 and 32 mm. Thanks to this modular system, i-FIT can reduce stock parts up to 50% whenever working with one kind of cube. When working with two the reduction can reach 75%.

Finally, Instaflex comes as the ideal joint solution for heating, cold and hot water, wastewater and compressed air piping systems. Its biggest contribution is the fact that it guarantees top quality and, at the same time, reduces common material problems, such as corrosion, scaling, deposits or noise emissions.
