The Home Ventilating Institute (HVI), a
nonprofit association of the manufacturers of home ventilating products, has
partnered with the 2007 HVAC Comfortech Seminar & Showcase, the premier
residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
(HVAC) forum, to produce a series of educational seminars focused on
ventilation and indoor air quality.
HVIs goal is to increase awareness of ventilation as the primary
solution to indoor air quality problems through seminars and business
opportunity presentations, said HVI Chairman Ola Wettergren, President of
Fantech. This is clearly the best opportunity HVI and its members have ever
had to advance the value of residential ventilation for healthier living.
Comfortech is scheduled for Wednesday, September 26 through Saturday, September
29, 2007 at Americas Center
in St. Louis, Missouri.
HVI will be sponsoring a seminar track Putting the V Back in HVAC on
Thursday and Friday, September 27-28. Seminars include four educational and
informational sessions on ventilation issues, reveals the companys press
release. Ventilation: The Best Solution to Improve Indoor Air Quality will
discuss how HVAC contractors can increase customer satisfaction and business
opportunities with ventilation products. Building Codes, Ventilation Rates
& Certified Ventilation Performance will help HVAC professionals
understand building and energy codes and requirements and learn the value of
ventilation products that have been rated for airflow, sound, and energy
performance. The Key to Ventilation Solutions that Work explains the
fundamentals of how to properly design and install ventilation products and
provides information on ventilation education and training opportunities for
HVAC professionals and others. The Best Solution to Improve Indoor Air Quality
is a panel discussion including installing contractors, ventilation experts,
and builders who will discuss how they have added value and increased sales
through ventilation sales.
