Mexico will host Building Tech America's fourth edition |

BuildingTech Americas 2007 (BTA), the
internacional automated buildings design and management forum organized by Latin
Press, will take place on September 6th 7th at Mexico City, in the Hotel
Crowne Plaza. This years edition will also be sponsored by IMEI (Mexican
Intelligent Buildings Institute) and ASHRAEs Mexico Chapter, among others, and
some leading industry experts such as Carrier and Johnson Controls will be in
charge of presenting the future trends of this sector.
The academic programme will be coordinated by Julián Arcila, the editor
of AC/R LATINOAMERICA and VENTAS DE SEGURIDAD magazines, with the help of IMEI and
renown high-tech professionals and specialists, reveals the organizers press
release. The conferences will cover facilities design and commissioning, as
well as management systems for end-users. For instance, on September 6th architect
Carlos Estévez, representing SOMFY France, will present a conference on Façade
automation and its effect on buildings thermal control, and on September 7th Dave
Rinehart from Viconics-Lasso will discuss Temperature control and intelligent
systems design for air conditioning.
Together with the academic programme, BTA 2007 will organize an
exhibition where regional suppliers will be able to present their products for
HVAC, controls, security, sound/noise and communication.
