RSES, an education, training and
certification association for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and
refrigeration professionals, announced the addition of Training Authority
Seminars to its educational portfolio. According to the organizations press
release, it is offering the opportunity for RSES Chapters, associations,
corporate members and interested parties to host a seminar in their area.
A variety of topics that will cater to beginner, intermediate and
advanced-level audiences is now available. Seminars are offered year-round across North America. RSES Training
Authority Seminars include: working with R-410A; direct digital controls;
troubleshooting electrical systems, air conditioners, supermarket
refrigerators, and steam and hot-water systems; indoor air quality; beyond the
basics; a practical approach to airflow and air distribution; electrical
schematic analysis; and many more. These have the potential to become
recognized by North American Technician Excellence.
Seminars provide an invaluable
attendee interaction which would otherwise be lost with a self-study course. The classroom setting that seminars provide allows
participants to gain valuable technical tips and useful materials, says Jean
Birch, conference and seminars manager. In addition, RSES Training Authority
Seminars can help increase membership, as well as provide testing opportunities
for Environmental Protection Agency refrigerant usage, RSES Certificate Member,
RSES Certificate Member Specialist and NATE certification tests.
