After six years of continued growth in its prior location, Sensicast Systems, a major supplier of
wireless sensor network systems and services, has recently moved into new,
expanded facilities.
Allan Peak, Vice-President of
Engineering at Sensicast, comments: The new facility brings us more room to
meet continuing company growth. An enhanced state-of-the-art manufacturing facility
provides additional capacity to meet growing worldwide demand for SensiNet and
to enable us to produce and deliver lab-certified sensors. We have also
expanded our customer facility that now includes a dedicated customer training
center and additional meeting space.
The companys expanded lab-certified manufacturing facility will help
meet best practices for FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, as well as GLP, GMP,
and ISO requirements. As Sensicasts customers in life sciences,
pharmaceutical, food and beverage manufacturing and processing need to submit data
captured by SensiNet equipment to the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency),
FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and other regulatory organizations, Sensicast
offers A2LA-accredited calibration services to users of its SensiNet systems. According
to the companys press release, through this service operators of SensiNet
networks can ensure that Smart Sensors running in their facilities are
calibrated according to ISO/ICE 17025-1999, using dedicated equipment.
