CholodExpo Rossija 2009 – Russia’s only trade fair for refrigeration – takes place for the second time at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow on March 10th- 12th, 2009. It will focus, among others, on the energy efficiency of new refrigeration equipment and will feature a conference on refrigeration whose program should be available in November.

NürnbergMesse, the promoter of CholodExpo Rossija, is organizing the exhibition for the first time in cooperation with the Russian refrigeration association “Rossojuscholodprom”. Just like last year, the exhibition is also supported by a number of Russian ministries and international associations and organizations. For example, the well-known Giprocholod Institute in Moscow is a partner of the event since 2008. Chillventa Nürnberg can also be expected to create a positive impact on the awareness of the Russian exhibition in Germany. Chillventa Exhibition Director Gabriele Hannwacker said: “CholodExpo Rossija can also profit from the emerging success of Chillventa Nürnberg 2008.” Chillventa Nürnberg celebrates its premiere on October 15^th – 17^th, 2008, and more than 650 international exhibitors have already registered.

According to the organizer’s press release, CholodExpo Rossija will take place annually in the future, in Moscow and in March. An increasing number of exhibitors and visitors are expected, considering its successful first edition, when just under 3,000 trade visitors gathered information from 72 exhibitors from 15 countries and over 400 visitors attended the conference. Exhibitors and visitors were highly satisfied: “CholodExpo Rossija is very well organized and very professional. All the leading players in the refrigeration industry were represented. The quality of the visitors is very high and they are exclusively trade visitors,” sums up a representative of Grasso, one of Russia’s leading refrigeration companies.
