Climastar receives International Marketing Initiative Award |

Climastar, an Asturian
company that manufactures air conditioning equipment with an international
patent, just received the International Marketing Initiative Award, given by
the Club de Marketing de Asturias in the V National Marketing Meeting.
This award, which was recieved by Pedro Llana and Ignacio Huergo,
General Manager and International Expansion Manager at Climastar (respectively)
from the hands of Alberto González, General Secretary of the Asturian
Businessman Federation (FADE), is the most recent addition to the companys several
awards, obtained during its brief but successful corporate trajectory, both on
a national and international level. Climastar is currently exporting its air
conditioning equipment to more than 20 European, African and American countries.
With this kind of commercial actions, the company expects to increase its
international presence, now that its production capacity will increase 4 times
with the start of operation of its new factory in Pruvia (Llanera).
Climastar recently strengthened the commercial relationship initiated in
2006 with Croatia and Slovenia (countries in which Climastar already has a
commercial distributor) and established the first contacts with air
conditioning professionals in Serbia to start exporting to this country during
a commercial mission organized by the Oviedo Chamber of Commerce in June 2008.
It also inaugurated its first franchise in Monforte de Lemos, thus reaching six
franchises in Galicia.
This years goal is to have 10 establishments in the four Galician provinces. Its
