The twelfth edition of the Energy and Environment International Trade
Fair, GENERA´09,
which IFEMA initially announced would take place in February 2009, has changed
its dates and will now be staged May 12th - 14th of the
same year.
The purpose of this decision is to increase the size of the exhibition
space contracted by companies that have been requesting larger stands, as well
as to incorporate all members of the different sectors that make up the
renewable energies and energy efficiency industry. Furthermore,
the new dates will boost the unique identity of GENERA, given that the event
will take place separately with regard to other events. Furthermore, the fair
will be more visible and create a stronger impact within the professional
field.
According to the organizers press release, seven countries have already
confirmed their participation at GENERA09 with group halls and, to date, more
than 70% of the exhibiting companies at the last edition have renewed their
attendance at the fair. For the next edition, the organisers are preparing a
comprehensive Specialised Conference Programme, which will tackle a number of
key issues of importance to the industry. The trade fair will once again enjoy
the support of IDAE (Energy Diversity and Savings Institute), ASIT (Solar
Association for the Thermal Industry) and ATECYR (Spanish Technical
Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Association), among others.
