Selkirk Corporation, a leading manufacturer of chimney, venting and air distribution products for the commercial and residential HVAC and hearth industries for more than 80 years, announces new upgraded warranty coverage is now in effect on all Selkirk Commercial Chimney & Venting products.

All Selkirk Grease Duct systems are now covered by a manufacturer’s Lifetime Warranty. Selkirk Heating Appliance systems are now covered by a 15 Year Warranty where the system sizing and design has been performed by Selkirk’s in-house Design Engineering team (systems not designed by Selkirk will qualify for 1 Year coverage). Both of the new warranty packages replace the previous 10 Year/1 Year coverage. According to the company’s press release, the written warranty documents are now available on Selkirk Commercial Products.

Selkirk, with corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas, manufactures products in the United States, Canada and Mexico. 2008 marks its 75th year in Canada, where in 1933 Kelly Sveinson invented the first insulated prefabricated chimney, using a Coca-Cola sign for raw material. Headquartered in Stoney Creek, Ontario, Selkirk Canada operates three Canadian manufacturing facilities to serve the commercial/industrial, wholesale, hearth, and retail markets.
