Lennox International Inc., a global leader in the heating, air conditioning and refrigeration markets, has recently been honoured with the 2009 North American Green HVAC&R Industry Innovation & Leadership of the Year Award from Frost & Sullivan. The Award recognizes Lennox's industry leadership through the company's pioneering technology, optimized product line, sound business strategy, and research & development initiatives.

According to the Frost & Sullivan report "Lennox's value proposition represents a conscientious and pioneering endeavour to curb environmental impact through the adoption of sustainable product design". The Frost & Sullivan report also recognized the Lennox SunSource(TM), the industry's first integrated solar-assisted residential heating and cooling system and the use of Hypercore (TM) micro channel heat exchanger technology, which reduces the necessary refrigerant charge by up to 70 percent.
