Rivacold UK, the expanding refrigeration manufacturer, has presented two custom-built F-Gas training rigs to Enterprise Training. The rigs were built at Rivacolds production headquarters in Italy to a specification and brief provided by the Hereford-based training organisation.
They will be used in the training and assessment of the growing number of engineers attending Enterprise Trainings centre for the City and Guilds 2079 safe refrigerant handling course.
Ray Marriott, operations director at Rivacold UK, said: We strongly support the cause of training in the industry. The new rigs give candidates hands-on experience of handling refrigerants and systems safely, and ensure they are competent and confident to operate out in the field.
He added: Enterprise Training is our local centre for specialist acr training, and our own staff attend courses there. They, along with candidates from other companies, will now benefit from access to the state-of-the-art new rigs in the future.
Morris Burton, principal trainer at Enterprise Training, said: It is a generous and most welcome donation from Rivacold UK. Under the new training framework, there is an extended requirement for hands-on practice and assessment. The rigs provide a brilliant addition to our new courses, and bring the training on refrigerant handling and system safety to life. All candidates will benefit.
