On 20th October the SIRAC network will visit SELEX Galileo in Luton. SELEX is a leader in defence electronics markets, with a distinctive strength in airborne mission critical systems and association air conditioning requirements as well as a wide range of homeland securities applications.

The company invests 15% of revenues into research and development, as part of its strategy to stay at the forefront of technology. It has established a number of recognised centres of excellence in technology development, as well as partnerships with governments, academic institutions and research centres.

The programme for the SIRAC event it being finalised but is likely to include presentations on: Typhoon aircraft cooling systems, helium leak detection, recovery and reclaim innovation; developments in micro cooling. The usual SIRAC Networking will take place as well as a tour of research facilities.
