Merloni Termosanitari (MTS Group), a global leader in the heating market, will attend,
with two stands dedicated to Ariston and Elco (Hall 7, Stands C2.1 and D10.1
respectively), the 9th edition of SolarExpo, the international exhibition of
renewable energies that will be held from 15th to 17th May 2008 in Verona exhibition
grounds (Fiera di Verona).
In the Ariston stand, a new range of
natural and forced circulation solar kits called KAIROS will be featured, plus
a new integrated system condensing boiler and solar plant, operated from a
single display able to optimise consumption and environmental protection,
while guaranteeing maximum comfort to users. A preview of the innovative
Ariston NUOS, a heat pump water heater which can be adapted to different types
of installations, will also be offered. This system, which takes advantage of
the thermal energy present in the air, makes it possible to obtain considerable
energy saving (up to 70% compared to conventional products) with an excellent
water heating comfort.
The Elco stand will feature
some integrated solutions based on the vacuum solar tubes known as AURON and on
flat solar collectors SOLATRON, for homes (single family and multi family) and
businesses. Elcos AURON vacuum solar tubes enabled the Group to win the bid
for supplying the water heating system to the athletes taking part in 2008
Beijing Olympic Games: a sophisticated system including about 7,600 m2 of solar
tubes (one of the largest plants in the world) was installed in the Olympic
Village and will supply hot water to the 17,500 athletes who will take part in
the Olympic Games. According to the companys
press release, to further confirm its commitment to renewable energies, at the
beginning of 2008 MTS Group opened a new important Research and Development
centre and a production unit, both dedicated to solar-thermal systems. |
