Spectronics Corporation’s OPK-300BEZ/E Leak Detection Kit has garnered first place in the “Tools” category of Contracting Business magazine’s Comfortech 2008 Product Showcase Awards.  

The award recognizes products for their innovative nature, the ease with which HVAC contractors can apply the technology and the technical value of the product or service to the HVAC industry.  The award has been presented to Spectronics at Comfortech 2008 in Atlanta (USA), and the kit will be featured in an upcoming issue of Contracting Business, reveals the company’s press release.

The OPK-300BEZ/E is ideal for locating all refrigerant leaks in medium to large air conditioning and refrigeration systems.  The kit comes complete with the cordless, rechargeable OPX-3000 blue LED flashlight, BigEZ dye injector assembly, 4 oz (120 ml) universal/POE dye cartridge, hose assembly with low-loss fitting and purge fitting.  Also included are fluorescence-enhancing glasses, AC and DC battery chargers and an 8 oz (236 ml) spray bottle of GLO-AWAY dye cleaner, all conveniently packed in a plastic carrying case.
