This book (Good Practices Guide for the Detection of Refrigerant Leaks) is a practical information tool on the essential aspects necessary for refrigerant leak detection operations. The users who work on refrigeration installations will find here all of Cetim’s knowledge on the subject. It goes from the simple explanation of what a leak is, its origins, to the regulatory context and good leak detection practices. With practical cards about the different detectors and detection products in existance, this document has been prepared by Cetim and Cetiat MFCE’s (refrigeration materials, air conditioners and heat exchangers) joint committee’s “Containment” task group in close relationship with the Uniclima trade union.
