The 38th International Congress on Heating,
Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning, wich started on December 5th and ends
on December 7th at the Sava Centre, Belgrad, is organized by the Society for
Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (KGH) of the Union of Mechanical
and Electrical Engineers and Technicians of Serbia (SMEITS).
Since 1970 the congress is held at Belgrade, in autumn, focusing on the
discussion of energy engineering, energy demand and energy consumption issues
in the HVACR sector, which represents the consumption of approximately 40% of
total generated energy worldwide. Energy: A Precondition of Survival, But Also
A Threat to the Environment is the motto of the 38th HVACR Congress, which is
dedicated to energy saving and healthy environments, HVACR systems for clean
rooms, energy efficiency of buildings, district heating systems, air-conditioning, refrigeration, renewable energy sources.
University professors, scientific counsellors and industry experts, as well as
young scientists (theses) will be presenting over 60 papers, 20 of which
written by authors from Germany, France, Italy, Denmark, Greece, Slovenia,
Turkey, Sweden, Macedonia, Romania, Hungary, USA, England, Austria, Bulgaria,
China and Singapore. According to the
organizers press release, on December 7th, for example, there will be presentations
on HVAC, Floor Heating and Fan Coil KNX/EIB Intelligent Control System in the Wellness
Center of the Hotel Splendid, by Dragan V. Lazić and Milan R. Ristanović, Production
and Analysis of the Thermal Load Dynamics: Case Study on the Geothermal Energy
Utilization in Debrc, by Olivera Ećim. Finally, the farewell lunch will be
organized by the firm RHOSS, from Italy.
