The Air Conditioning
Contractors of America (ACCA) and the Indoor
Air Quality Association (IAQA) have
announced that the two organizations will hold their annual meetings at the
same time and place in 2009, and the two meetings will share the tradeshow
known as the Indoor Air Expo, doubling the expo in size and scope.
The 2009 Indoor Air Expo
will be held February 24-26, 2009 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort
Worth, Texas. At the same time, ACCA will conduct its 41st Annual Conference at
the Convention Center, while IAQA will hold its 14th Annual Meeting across the
street at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel. Based on an analysis of
recent shows conducted by ACCA and IAQA, it is expected that the 2009 Indoor
Air Expo will draw more than 3,000 attendees and over 350 exhibitors, reveals
the organizations' press release.
According
to Paul T. Stalknecht, ACCA President & CEO, "The Indoor Air Expo has
grown significantly over the past few years in conjunction with the ACCA
Conference. It has become the leading showcase of the HVACR industry, bringing
suppliers together with contracting business decision-makers to share and learn
from each other." He continued, "Bringing IAQA in to hold their
meeting at the same time, and to co-sponsor the Expo, means that Fort Worth in
2009 will be the biggest source of education, networking, and learning
opportunities ever seen in the indoor air industry." Glenn Fellman, IAQA
Executive Director, added, "We are excited about the new opportunities for
our members and exhibitors, and we believe Fort Worth 2009 will go down as a
landmark moment in the IAQ industry and profession."
