Emerson’s Copeland Scroll compressors feature a rotating scroll-set design, with fewer moving parts to compress gas more efficiently, reliably, and quietly. When the Copeland Scroll compressor was introduced in 1987, it quickly gained preference from residential air conditioning contractors and manufacturers, in part, because of its ability to achieve previously unheard of levels of efficiency in an era of increasing energy standards.  Emerson has also expanded the market for its scroll compressors to include commercial air conditioning, refrigeration, and several unique applications in various markets, such as medical equipment and the oil and gas industry, reveals the company’s press release.
