In order to make the
International Trade Fair for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Ventilation (IKK) attractive for not only
the traditionally most important visitor target group, i.e. system
manufacturers, but also for planning and industrial experts who have never
before attended this event, the continuous cooling chain will be a key topic in
Stuttgart from 8 to 10 October 2008. IKK will therefore firstly
take account of old virtues which were lost over the course of time experts
from the areas of food refrigeration and insulation had stayed away because
they were no longer able to reach their target groups and secondly, it will use
the new opportunities afforded by one of the strongest economic regions in
Europe with an above-average number of planning offices and industrial
enterprises. It is obvious that attention will also be paid to the topic of
transport logistics at IKK as the trade fair is being held in
Baden-Württemberg, a region that is home to car manufacturers. According to the event organizers press release, a Transport
Refrigeration Forum, for example, will therefore be held. This
event is being organised by the renowned etm Verlag (publishing company).
