SWEP, one of the
world's leading suppliers of compact brazed heat exchangers (CBEs) and related
products and services, has recently started its first Trainee Program with three
highly qualified postgraduates all in their 20s joining the company for
the very busy year-long scheme.
Following product and application training at SWEPs headquarters in
Landskrona, they will work on projects across SWEPs main departments, reveals
the companys press release. Were making sure that learning is a two-way
process, says Lotta Holmqvist, Human Resource Manager at SWEP. The
participants are being trained, of course, but they are also bringing their own
expertise and qualifications to SWEP, and were looking forward to learning
from them, too.
Koteshwar
Chirumalla is analysing flows in SWEPs toolshop to enable him to develop an
effective flow for the companys tool manufacturing. Im aiming to establish a
flow that will further improve tool quality and output, he says. David
Persson is taking responsibility for a project covering selection tables for
Europe. The tables are for dealers and wholesalers, he says. I want to make
it easier for them to select CBEs, particularly on SWEPs eBusiness website. Wei
Gu is working on information flows through SWEPs many systems. Im aiming for
the right people to have the right information at the right time, he says. It
will improve the quality of decision making and give everyone at SWEP a better
sense of whats going on and how it relates to their job. |
