Keith Coursin, President of Desert Aire, was elected chairman of the Board of Directors of the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) at the organization's Board of Directors meeting held November 16 in Carlsbad, California. Coursin has been an active member of AHRI for more than 10 years. He has served as AHRI's treasurer, Chairman of the Dehumidifiers Product Section, and a member of the association's Audit Committee, Budget and Investment Committee, Education and Training Committee and Exposition Policy Committee, reveals the organization’s press release.
            
“It’s a great honor to be selected for this position,” comments Keith.  “I welcome the challenge and greatly look forward to contributing in this new capacity for AHRI.”   His new duties include chairing the institute’s general meetings which are held throughout the year, as well as acting as AHRI’s official spokesperson at the meetings and conferences sponsored by other associate HVAC trade organizations such as Heating, Airconditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) and the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA).
