A first class preparation course on the theoretical knowledge required to obtain the new F-GAS Certification is now available online at elearning-training.com, a  pioneering learning initiative launched by Star Refrigeration in 2006. According to new regulations, engineers handling, recovering, supplying, installing, manufacturing, maintaining, servicing or owning equipment containing HFC refrigerants in stationary equipment will need F-Gas Regulations Certification by July 2011.

The new national qualifications will cover 4 different categories of personnel according to the particular activity. According to company iniciative’s press release, the courses provided by elearning-training.com contain the essential theoretical knowledge for Cat. I and II Certification as regards stationary refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump equipment. The F-Gas preparation course allows students to try out online learning and testing outside the formal exam environment without any pressure, at their own pace and convenience and for as many times as they feel necessary. It also contains different banks of questions to choose from in order to practise for the actual City & Guilds or CITB theoretical test.
