This year’s Cooling with Carbon Dioxide conference will look beyond theory and explore how the latest CO2 cooling innovations are performing in the field, announces the organization in the event's website. The conference will take place in London on 28th of March. CO2 cooling has moved on significantly over the past year. CO2 is now not only being applied in large industrial applications, but also in commercial size and small scale cooling applications. It is even being developed for use in air conditioning, making CO2 a potential refrigerant for use across the spectrum of mainstream cooling. The conference is directed to all refrigeration and air conditioning professionals from end-users; consultants; contractors; installers; commissioning engineers; service and maintenance specialists; equipment and system designers; component manufacturers; OEMs; distributors and wholesalers as well as refrigerant suppliers.
According to the event's organizers, the benefits of attending the conference are: - End-user and contractor feedback on transcritical supermarket cooling systems with CO2; - Showcase of the latest CO2 applications for air conditioning and their potential in building services and IT cooling; - Briefing on the technical and commercial issues of using the latest hermetic compressors for small commercial chillers; - The performance of the latest subcritical and cascade systems in the UK and abroad; - The vital lessons learnt from two decades of applying carbon dioxide on the continent. |
