Mostra Convegno Expocomfort announces innovations of its 36th edition |

The 36th Mostra Convegno Expocomfort, the biennial and world-renowned exhibition dedicated to domestic and industrial plant engineering, organised by Fiera Milano International, will show as usual the new trends in its four main sectors: heat (Heating; Components for Plants; Implements– Tools), energy (Photovoltaic-Solar thermal; Bio-fuels-Cogeneration; Insulation), cold (Air conditioning; Ventilation; commercial and industrial Refrigeration) and water (Plumbing technology; Water treatment).
According to a press release from the event's organisation, the essential target of MCE 2008 – which will be held from 11th to 15th March 2008 at the new Fiera Milano exhibition centre in Rho- is to further increase quality and presence of Italian and foreign professional visitors compared to the excellent results obtained in 2006. The last edition achieved a record turnout of about 170,000 professional visitors, 30,000 of whom came from 134 different countries and saw the consolidated participation of 2,750 exhibiting companies.
 MCE 2008 will offer a series of special initiatives with a rich calendar of conferences to debate industrial and technical issues, increasing new business contacts between professional trade operators and exhibitors and promoting new ideas and events.
MCE 2008 will be the ideal showcase for the presentation of the innovative solutions and new trends for modern technical living creating conditions of comfort and well-being: a reference point to the market able to meet the new requirements through the presentation of new products and new technologies. The exhibition represents the Comfort & Living marketplace, that is, an opportunity for awareness, for experimenting with ideas, and a place dedicated to the development of business contact at local and international level among exhibitors, installers, distributors, showrooms, building companies, engineers, architects and designers.
The 2008 edition will feature new events tackling the issues that matter most to the target visitors and
exhibitors. Another novelty concerns “Inside the Future”, a side event taking place on the trade fair grounds that will give the opportunity to discuss new developments in the field of energy efficiency. “Inside the Future” will join the previous successful initiatives such as the Comfort & Design Award proposing the most innovative products originating from the identification of new requirements and Material Connexion, area where innovative materials documentation will be displayed exclusively and there will also be a conference area. The Casaclima Sudtirol is scheduled to take place once again inside a 150 square metres living solution, built on a scale of 1:1 with systems and materials that can provide high energy efficiency.
MCE 2008 will also represent an opportunity to consolidate the partnership with some of the most important trade associations at domestic and international levels. Together with Angaisa (Italian Dealer Association for Plumbing Equipment, HVAC, Flooring, Tiles and Bathroom Fittings), the 36th MCE intends to bring to light innovative ideas and new trends in the thermal, plumbing and bathroom fitting sectors. Furthermore, MCE in partnership with Anima (Federation of Italian Associations of Mechanical, Engineering and Related Industries) will organize conventions and promote direct-actions representing a unique opportunity to investigate thoroughly the industrial production in the respect for the environment. MCE 2008 will propose once again the “Committee for the Protection of Intellectual and Industrial Property- Anima - Mostra Convegno Expocomfort/Expobagno. This committee will provide to remove promptly the contested products from the exhibition once that the infringement of Industrial and Intellectual Property rights has been established. |
