 The new Vert X family of sensors from Variohm EuroSensor Ltd, not only comes in various housing diameters from 13mm to 37mm and offers a number of analogue or digital outputs, they are sealed to IP69K (operational), informs the company's press release.
The Vert-X exMag family is a range of non-contacting sensors in which the permanent magnet is attached to the rotating object by the customer. The need for mechanical coupling between the axis and the measurement system has been eliminated, thus no wear occurs. The angle sensors are designed for use where the true running of the rotating object is outside a specific tolerance range, or when physical contact between the rotary sensor and the object is not possible. Available in body sizes between 13 to 37 mm and have a temperature range between -40 and +125°C, also offering a 14bit resolution.
The Vert X range includes fully moulded versions sealed to IP69K specifications. All models feature the capability for free programming of the rotary angle from 0 to 360°, with the full range of resolution and precision available, even for less than 360°. |
