Vitocell-B 300 from Viessmann is a DHW cylinder with two indirect coils. According to the product's brochure, the lower coil receives heat from solar panels, the upper coil will be used for reheating by the boiler. Constructed from stainless steel, Vitocell-B 300 has a capacity of 300 and 500 litres.
Among this product's benefits are: - Long service life through corrosion-resistant DHW cylinder made from high-grade stainless steel; - Hygienic and made to food hygiene standard through high surface quality; - No protective anode required for additional corrosion protection, therefore no additional running costs; - Heating surface right to the cylinder floor heat the entire water content; - High hot water convenience through rapid, even heating via generously sized heating surfaces; - Low thermal losses through highly effective, all-round thermal insulation. For 300 litre versions made from hard PUR foam (CFC-free); for 500 litre versions made from soft foam; - For dual-mode DHW heating in conjunction with solar collectors and a boiler. The solar energy gathered by the solar panels is transferred to the DHW by the lower indirect coil. Both indirect coils are operated in series when heating DHW in mono-mode via a heat pump; - The Vitocell-B 300 (500 litres capacity) is supplied with removable soft PUR foam insulation for easier handling. |
