Wieland-Werke AG, Ulm, Germany will be exhibiting a wide range of future-oriented solutions for heating, sanitary and solar technology at this year’s ISH (Frankfurt, 6-10 March), as well as highlighting its commitment to the environment. Wieland has recently been awarded the Environmental Declaration Certificate for branded copper tubes by AUB (German Association for Environmentally Compatible Construction Products) and with this voluntary declaration would like to make its contribution to sustainable construction, refers the company in a press release.
The declaration refers to the new flexible cuprotherm CTX. This copper tube will be centre stage at the ISH. It has been developed in response to changes in market conditions and supplements the cuprotherm series proven for over 25 years. Apart from ease of installation, cuprotherm CTX with a well adhered coating offers economical advantages. Moreover, Wieland will exhibit the other branded copper tubes for domestic plumbing, namely SANCO, WICU and COPATIN, characterized by the outstanding properties of the natural material copper in terms of sustainability and ecology. A focal point of the ISH will also be the initiative "lead-free installation in the sanitary industry". Throughout the entire installation chain, Wieland will be demonstrating that completely lead-free installations can be realized with its silicon-based ECOBRASS and ECOCAST. Various manufacturers will exhibit products made of these brass materials, ranging from tapping stop valves and shut-off valves to the first lead-free tap worldwide. |
