CAREL, a company that offers
innovative humidification and control systems in the HVACR market, will be presenting new products at Mostra Convegno
Expocomfort, which is taking place in Milan
next month: the MC multi zone adiabatic humidification system and the VFD
inverter.
The MC multi zone resolves the problem of
controlling the air humidity and temperature with an economically advantageous
system for large spaces that is easy to install and requires low maintenance. The
possible applications include cold rooms and stores, for produce such as fruit
and vegetables, wine cellars and barrel rooms, where dry air causes weight loss
and deterioration in the appearance of the produce. One important innovation is
the possibility to create multizone applications using the master-slave
configuration. The system essentially consists of a control cabinet and nozzles,
and also an effective UV sanitising lamp that shines UV light on the flow of
supply water, helping to eliminate any biological contaminants that may be
present, such as bacteria, viruses, mould, spores and yeast.
The new μVFD is an easy
inverter made-to-measure for HVAC/R application. It is the solution that guarantees
precise control and considerable energy saving by controlling the speed of the
motor and thus delivering the exact load required by the utility. According to
the companys press release, it is compact in size, complete with user interface
and control board for the management software, easy to program and start, ideal
for variable flow-rate fans in air handling units; compressor capacity
modulation; variable flow-rate system supply pumps and evaporator pumps on
chillers; and control of condensing pressure by managing the fan speed. |
