The Modulex range of high
efficiency condensing boilers from Clyde,
an expert in the supply and support of boilers, radiators and heating systems
for commercial customers, has increased outputs and now includes two new super
size models. The new Modulex M770 and M900 cast aluminium alloy boilers combine
exceptional reliability with the output power of multiple boiler systems.
Like the other floor-standing boilers in the Modulex range, Clydes
new M770 and M900 versions combine flue gas condensing, premix burner
technology and modulation to ensure maximum energy efficiency and minimal
environmental impact. Mutliple burners in the new models ensure dependable,
fail safe operation and eliminate the need to specify standby boilers, thereby
reducing installation costs. This also assists compliance with Part L 2006,
which requires much closer matching of boiler output to design load with
minimal oversizing (maximum 20%) without compromising the need for back-up in
the event of equipment failure. Needing only single phase electrical supply and
a gas supply pressure of only 20 mbar, these larger models also require no gas
booster, resulting in further cost savings.
The boilers also feature an innovative over-ride switch on the boilers
electronic control system. If the integral boiler control system fails for any
reason, this over-ride allows the boiler to continue to operate in a fail-safe
mode at 50% load until a service engineer can attend. The radiant burner design
provides almost silent combustion, which makes Modulex one of the quietest on
the commercial boiler market at less than 50dBA. According to the companys
press release, with this latest expansion, Clydes Modulex range now offers
eleven models with outputs from 96kW through to 894kW to suit all types and
sizes of commercial heating requirements. |
