EuroACE, the European Alliance of
Companies for Energy Efficiency in Buildings, has appointed Rick Wilberforce of
Pilkington Group Ltd. as its new President. Rick is very experienced in the sector having served as the first

behind the wheel of the association during his tenure.
In a recent statement, EuroACEs new President congratulated the
European Parliament and rapporteur Fiona Hall MEP on adopting the report on Europe's implementation of its Action Plan on Energy
Efficiency."On behalf of EuroACE, I congratulate the European Parliament
and, in particular, its rapporteur Fiona Hall upon adopting so overwhlemingly
this excellent and incisive report. The
full support it has received from all the main political groups is an important
signal of the seriousness with which the European Parliament regards the
issue of energy saving.
