Halton, a company
delivering leading indoor climate solutions internationally for uses ranging
from commercial buildings to kitchens and demanding marine applications,
recently announced the launch of the
Halton AdaptableClimate concept and adaptable chilled beams.
The need for changes in
space layout and space programmes is increasing and efficient change management
also requires flexibility from building services systems. The Halton
AdaptableClimate concept and adaptable chilled beams enable fast and
cost-efficient adaptability of spaces to meet users' needs. Adaptable chilled beams and constant pressure ductwork enable users to
freely choose the location of their conference and office rooms. With their broad operation range, air velocity,
cooling capacity and outdoor airflow rate can be changed to meet the
requirements of the new layout only by adjusting the product.
 An office
space can be transformed into a meeting room simply by adjusting the outdoor
airflow rate with a Halton Air Quality diffuser. When using partition
walls to divide a space into several rooms, the conditions can be controlled
efficiently with the Halton Velocity Control system in order to avoid local
draughts. The range of adaptable chilled beams offers products for both exposed
installation (Halton CCE) and for flush installation within a suspended ceiling
(Halton CCC). Both models are also available with integrated light fittings
(the Halton CCC with lighting will be available early 2008). According to the companys press release, the Halton CCE chilled beams
are available in four appearance options as standard finishes. The
products can be equipped with a manual or motorised Halton Air Quality diffuser
and control valves. |
