ICS recently announced it is now offering a new range of food safe, biodegradable antifreeze. ICS Green is the newest addition to the ICS range of glycols, which includes Blue for food safe applications and Red for general industrial plants.

The new ‘Green’ Glycol is a proprietary blend of refined vegetable extracts that are biodegradable and have a very low order of toxicity. Suitable for use in the food and beverage industry or for systems where low oral toxicity is preferred, ICS Green contains nontoxic (GRAS) multimetal inhibitors to protect chillers and associated cooling systems against corrosion and scale, thus prolonging equipment life and thermal efficiency. ICS also offer two other glycol products for general applications together with a wide range of standard chiller parts and accessories.

The ICS central warehouse stocks over 5000 chiller spares and components, including the new ICS Green glycol, which is available next day in 25, 205 and 1000 litre drums, reveals the company’s press release.
