Reed Expositions France recently announced its new strategy for
interclima+elec 2008, in
line with the measures announced under the Grenelle de l'environnement
iniciative, which requires that from 2012 all buildings built in France must
comply with low consumption standards by systematically integrating the best
performing renewables.
Therefore, interclima+elec will have an increasing
focus on products and systems using renewables. Its next edition will be taking
place on February 5th - 8th, 2008 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles and will highlight
the thermal and photovoltaic solar, heat pump and wood energy sectors, as well
as combined systems drawing on both traditional technologies and new sources of
energy. Currently, over 600 exhibitors are expected (occupying more than 37,000
net m2 of stand space over three levels of a single building), and the show is
attracting record levels of participation. Compared with the previous edition,
interclima+elec 2008 is 14% up in terms of exhibitor numbers and 16% up in
terms of net space bookings.
Created
for interclima+elec 2008, 100% new energy and 100% connect are two new concepts
designed to shine the light on two rapidly developing markets that offer the
industry high added value. According to the organizers press release, 100% new
energy will highlight solutions and systems using renewables and new energy
sources (thermal and photovoltaic solar, heat pumps, geothermal, biomass, fuel
cells, small scale combined heat and power). 100% connect will help in the
understanding and implementation of solutions and systems for communication in
buildings and dwellings (overall comfort, domestic security, digital
entertainment, energy management).
