SHK Moscow will be taking place
for the twelfth time on May 12th -15th 2008, at Expocentr in Krasnaya Presnya. It has been the No. 1 event in Russia and its
neighbouring regions since its debut in 1997. As the leading Russian industry
and technology fair dedicated to heating, air conditioning, ventilation and
refrigeration technology, as well as building automation, sanitation and
renewable energy, SHK Moscow is already enjoying increasing demand from
exhibitors.
The 2007 edition of SHK Moscow was quite successful, with approximately
12,000 visitors and the participation of 383 suppliers from 23 countries,
ranging from Belgium to Hungary. Italy (with 27 companies) had contributed its
biggest contingent since the first SHK in Moscow,
and Germany
(82 companies), too, was present with the largest amount of floor space since
the beginnings of this trade fair. Joint presences from Italy, Germany,
China, Korea and Finland are lined up for 2008 and
the organisers foresee an even higher numbers of exhibitors and visitors (2007
achieved growth of ten percent, compared to 2006).

Organised by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and its Russian subsidiary, it is
supported by national and international associations, including EHI (Association
of the European Heating Industry), BDH (Federal Industrial Association of
Germany House, Energy and Environmental Technology), ABOK (Russian Association
of Engineers for Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, Heat Supply and
Building Thermal Physics) and APIK (Association of Russian Climate Industry
Enterprises). The topics of renewable energy and energy efficiency will be at
the heart of SHK Moscow 2008, as willingness to invest in these segments
remains very promising, reveals the organizers press release. Also, the
specialist symposium hosted by EHI and ABOK, which is staged annually in tandem
with SHK Moscow, will once again welcome national and international experts in 2008. In 2007,
"Modern Energy Efficient HVAC Systems and Climate Control" attracted specialists
from all over Russia.
