EXPOSALÃO, together with APIRAC (Portuguese Refrigeraton and Air Conditioning Association) and with the support of O Instalador magazine, promotes the 2nd edition of SINERCLIMA – International Energy, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trade Fair, which is taking place on February 14th – 17th, 2008, at Batalha, Portugal. SINERCLIMA’s first edition was a success, attracting approximately 35 thousand visitors, who were surprised by its high quality. The results were also positive for exhibitors due to the high number of  commercial contacts. Expectations are high considering that 100% of  the exhibitors stated they would come back again.

Aiming at joining together manufacturers, importers and installers of  Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration, Energy Control, Central Heating and Radiant Floor Systems, Fireplaces and Heat Recovery Units, Solar Panels, Alternative Energies, among others, this edition features a 50% increase in exhibition area (16,000 m2). About 100 national and foreign companies, representing approximately 80% of the AC, Refrigeration, Ventilation, Heating, Renewable Energies, Environment and Energy Management market, have confirmed their presence.

Considering the current standars and requirements for indoor air quality, energy output and environmental protection, this event will highlight alternative design and energy efficient solutions, including the presentation of innovative solar energy, geothermal and aerothermal systems. Parallel to SINERCLIMA, there will be talks and debates on this sector’s hottest subjects, such as the new Smoking Law, 2008 National Budget guidelines and Energy Certification System (organized by APIRAC, EFRIARC and APISOLAR). According to the organizers’ press release, participating companies will also offer presentations, information sessions and other iniciatives, which will surely increase the interest of industry professionals for this trade fair.
