The American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) and the renewable energy
industries in America
have a new administration committed to advancing renewable energy with a plan
to create new clean energy jobs with a goal to double alternative energy
production in the next three years.
The Barack Obama administration and ACORE issue a
Call for Action to its organizational members, and all other renewable energy
organizations, asking each to come forward with an Action Plan to help achieve
the DREAM: Double Renewable Energy in America.
In turn, ACORE has directed RETECH 2009 conference and Exhibition in
February (25-27) to provide a forum for presenting DREAM Project Action Plans,
and to follow up with the government to ensure submitted plans are seen in Washington, DC.
The forum will
be hosted by a panel of industry experts who will provide their insights into
Renewable Energy Markets. The discussion will cover several topics such as the
state of the renewable energy markets today and the outlook in 2009 for
development, finance, infrastructure and law; also, the expectation of national
regulation or legislation and its implications for renewable energy finance.
